5 Minute Keto Pizza
Meal Prep –
Not counting toppings.
I had more toppings than base ingredients!
I had all the ingredients for this already in my pantry. These are staples for me so I will be able to make this whenever the mood takes me.
Making the Recipe –
The recipe was really easy to make, whack it all in a bowl and then blitz with your stick blender.
Pro Tip: It doesn’t mention this in the recipe but I let the mixture sit for a few minutes before I put it in the pan so the pysillium husk could absord some of the moisture and thicken up the batter a bit.
Next time I’m going spread it out a bit more for a larger pizza base.
The recipe says to out your toppings on then put your pan in the oven. I chose to transfer the base to an oven tray with lined paper because every time I put the pan in the oven I burn my hand…. self preservation at work there! Lol.
Cooking Method –
It was really easy, one bowl and one pan (if you don’t transfer to an oven tray).
Taste – how does it stack up? –
“Now, you can have your pizza and eat it too – in under 5 minutes!”
Really? In 5 minutes? REALLY?
No. It took much longer… Mine took around 20 minutes from start to finish. So it does not take 5 minutes.
Taste wise… YUMMM!! I was worried it would taste eggy, but it didn’t at all. It was fluffy like a deep pan base but it stood up well to picking it up and eating it like real pizza!
